Every business has a story, and ours starts with a big decision. After many years in the corporate world, Glenn decided it was time to do something he truly loved. He swapped the boardroom for the bar, and Whiskey N Wine was born.
A leap of faith
Leaving a long, established career isn’t something anyone does lightly. But Glenn had always loved great drinks, good company and the way a well-run bar brings people together. With plenty of life experience behind him, he knew exactly what kind of business he wanted to build: one where every client is treated like a guest, and every event is run properly from start to finish.
Built from the ground up
Rather than buy something off the shelf, Glenn had our vintage bar van purpose-built. Every detail was designed with care, from the timber bar top and large service window to the beer taps, fridges and espresso machine, so that it looks stunning at a wedding and works flawlessly on a busy night. It’s not just a bar; it’s the centrepiece of the celebration. You can read more about the build in Our Vintage Mobile Bar.
Corporate know-how, hospitality heart
Those years in business shaped how Whiskey N Wine runs today. Clear quotes, prompt replies, reliable planning and no surprises on the day. But it’s Glenn’s warmth that clients remember most: the genuine chat at the bar window, the calm hand when things get busy, and the care he takes to make sure every guest feels welcome.
Leading a great team
Glenn has surrounded himself with people who share that same spirit, from Reagan behind the bar to Braydon on the coffee machine. Together they bring the Whiskey N Wine experience to weddings, parties and corporate events right across South East Queensland.
