How much alcohol do we need?

As a guide averaged across your guests, they will typically drink between 1 to 2 standard drinks per hour.

So, for a 5-hour reception with 100 guests, you’re looking at 500 to 1000 total drinks, depending on your crowd.

A typical breakdown is:
50% Beer (15 Cartons) (6 kegs)
20% Wine (20 Bottles)
20% Cocktails
10% Non-alcoholic drinks

Can you supply the alcohol?

We are not licensed to sell alcohol. We can however collect your alcohol prior to the event to cool in our fridges.

How much refrigeration do you have?

We have 6 under bench bar fridges and a separate cooling system for kegs to use during service. We also carry ice for cooling drinks in ice buckets. We will discuss additional cooling requirements during the event planning stage.

What happens if it rains on the day?

We cannot offer refunds for bad weather. We will still show up and still provide amazing service. Wet weather options are discussed when we are planning your event.

Do you need power?

Yes, we require a power outlet. In the event NO power is available we are able to provide a generator at an addittional cost.

How big is the van?

Our mobile bar is 2.6M High x 2.6M Wide x 5.8M
long including draw Bar, the Client must provide:

  • Adequate parking space close to the setup location
  • Clear access to manoeuvre the van into position
  • Level stable ground for the van to be parked on
  • Access to the set-up area 3 hours prior to the event.

We will not park illegally under any
circumstances.

Are you insured?

Yes we have public liability insurance for you and your guests. A copy can be provided upon request.

Do we have to pay a deposit?

Yes we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date and booking.

Can we add our own decorations to the van?

Yes you can. You are very welcome to decorate the van with your own decor, props or floral arrangements. This is your event so we will work with you to achieve the look you want

Can we hire your van if our event is in a public park?


Events in public places may require permits / applications from your local council. It is your responsibility to gain necessary permits for your event.
